Terms Of Service

Conditions of Service

1. Customer agrees to pay when due, the required installation charge,and to pay in advance the monthly service charge prescribed by Sister Lakes Cable.
2. All equipment and materials  installed on the premises shall remain the property of Sister Lakes Cable, excluding Cable modems sold to the Customer.
3. Sister Lakes Cable assumes no responsibility for the operation, maintenance, service or repair of the Customer’s  equipment.
4. The Customer agrees not to disturb, alter or move Sister Lakes Cable’s property, nor attach or permit the attachment of any additional television sets or FM receivers to Sister Lakes Cable’s property on the premise.
5. Any relocation or transfer of Sister Lakes Cable’s from the original place of installation shall be at the expense of the Customer and shall only be done by a qualified technician.
6. Sister Lakes Cable shall have the right to disconnect and discontinue cable television or internet services on failure of the Customer to pay sums of money due to Sister Lakes Cable when due and for any breach of any of these terms of service.
7. It is mutually agreed that this contract may be terminated by either party upon thirty (30) days written notice.
8. Sister Lakes Cable shall have the right to deduct or offset any charges or deposits which Sister Lakes Cable may owe the Customer against any unpaid services at time of cancellation.
9. If the Customer is renting a converter from Sister Lakes Cable, The Customer shall agree to reasonably care for the converter and agree to pay Sister Lakes Cable for each converter that is lost, stolen or damaged.
10. Rental converters are the sole property of Sister Lakes Cable and can not be sold, traded, exchanged  or removed from the premises unless by a employee of Sister Lakes Cable.
11. If Sister Lakes Cable engages the services of any collection agency or independent legal counsel to collect past due fees owed to Sister Lakes Cable by the Customer under this agreement, Sister Lakes Cable shall be entitled to full reimbursement from the Customer for all cost and expenses incurred in such collection efforts.
